  • At CSU, I learned how to learn, how to stay motivated and how to be the best version of myself, which gave me the confidence to launch a company with my senior design teammates.

Student Success

Operations and Supply Chain Management, '15
Monte Ahuja College of Business

When Vince began his six-month strategic sourcing cooperative education assignment at Ridge Tool in Elyria, Ohio, he had no idea how much he would learn or where it would ultimately take him. After gaining hands-on experience across various aspects of the business, including product development, quality control and customer support, Vince applied — and was accepted to — Swagelok Company’s prestigious Leadership Development Program for future managers. Even better, Vince secured his job months before graduating from CSU.

“I don’t think I would have secured the position at Swagelok without the exposure to the profession and the hands-on experience I received during my co-op. I encourage other students to get involved as early as they can, particularly with members of their profession because the experiences will be invaluable.”
